“Contemplative prayer in my opinion is nothing else than a close sharing between friends; it means taking time frequently to be alone with Him who we know loves us.” – St. Teresa of Avila (1515-1582)
There is so much to learn from those that have gone before us.
Christians through the ages have experienced connection with God through contemplative spiritual practices. At this retreat we'll be introduced to these types of practices and have the opportunity to explore them ourselves. We will learn and experience how they can help us on our own spiritual journeys with Jesus.
This retreat will be facilitated by Christa Hesselink.
Mon June 10 – Tues June 11, 2019
Beginning at 4:00pm on June 10, following the “Social Intelligence” Development Day.
Ending at 6:00pm on June 11 (dinner included).
Retreats are for FLOW interns only.
