On this day we will focus on essential skills that every Christian leader needs. No matter what your job is or where life takes you, you will need these "How To's" in your life.
HOW TO: COMMUNICATE WITH CONFIDENCE
They say people are more afraid of public speaking than they are of dying. Whether one-on-one or in front of a crowd, we often lack the confidence to live up to our potential and stop wasting our moments.
This workshop will focus on 5 communication tools to help you clarify your message and make it unforgettable. As we learn to communicate with confidence our audiences will remember what we say and our moments will make a difference. In this workshop, we’ll discuss how to communicate one-on-one, presenting with a team, or delivering a speech to a crowd.
HOW TO: MAKE GREAT DECISIONS
Making big decisions without all the facts or without getting wise advice can leave us feeling confused and unsure.
This workshop will challenge you to identify the best choice when faced with a myriad of options, feedback and concerns. While using your own real-life decisions, you will learn the steps needed to make confident decisions as you discern God’s direction in your life.
HOW TO: TAKE CARE OF YOUR SOUL
Life is busy and we are pulled in many directions. Jesus tells us to “remain in Him”, but how do we stay connected to Jesus in our fast-paced lives?
This workshop will focus on developing spiritual practices and rhythms in our lives, building a “trellis” which keeps us steady and grounded. Based on the book God In My Everything by Ken Shigematsu, this workshop will focus on core principles of soul care. It will include time for personal prayer and reflection to develop your own “rule of life”.
